The Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is a government institute of technology offering tertiary education throughout New Zealand. SIT’s main campus is located in Invercargill, New Zealand, with smaller campuses in Queenstown, Christchurch, Gore and Auckland. SIT has one of the largest distance learning faculties in the country, and all of our qualifications are accredited and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). We have studies ranging from certificate level right up to master degrees.

SIT’s expanding Queenstown Campus (established 2009) is conveniently located in the Remarkables Park Town Centre at Frankton, with the spectacular Remarkables mountain range as a backdrop. Our modern facilities provide an exceptional teaching environment with purpose built spaces, magnificent views, ample parking, and is easily accessible by public transport.

We also offer Zero Fees English scholarships to certain international students - this is 26 weeks of English language studies, absolutely free! (Conditions apply).
